Recipe is for a 13×9 baking pan
Ingredients:
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup KESSLER’S® Alkalized Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter, chilled and cubed
- 2 tsps Salt
- 5 tsps Instant Yeast
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 2/3 cup Milk
For the filling:
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsps Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chip
Procedure:
- Combine flour, sugar, butter, salt, yeast, water, eggs, milk, and KESSLER’S® Alkalized Cocoa Powder in the mixing bowl. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Lightly grease a bowl and transfer dough to bowl. Cover with damp towel. Proof until dough has risen and doubled in size around 30 minutes.
- Punch down dough and roll out onto a floured surface.
- Spread filling then gently roll up dough. Pinch the seam down to seal. Trim ends then cut dough into 12 or 15 slices depending on desired size.
- Arrange rolls in a lightly greased 13×9 baking dish. Cover with damp towel and allow to proof until doubled in size for around 30 minutes.
- While proofing, preheat oven to 175 °C or 350 °F.
- Bake for around 25-30 minutes.
